Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for part-time night shifts. You will work under the supervision of RNs and physicians, assisting with patient care, monitoring, and procedures in a fast-paced ED environment.

The role requires an EMT license (P or B) with at least 1 year of relevant experience, High School diploma, and BLS certification. ACLS/PALS preferred. They offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Active EMT license without restrictions or EMT-B with at least 1 year of related experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• CERT Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with basic care needs under RN/Physician supervision
• Monitor vital signs and perform procedures within scope of practice
• Obtain data and report findings to RN/Physician; document care
• Administer treatments and procedures as ordered by physicians and nursing staff
