Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, seeks an experienced Emergency Department RN. The role blends clinical and managerial duties, delivering direct patient care in a fast-paced ED, coordinating with physicians and staff to ensure timely, quality care.

Eligible candidates will have 2+ years ED experience, an active RN license, and must obtain BCLS/ACLS within 6 months of hire; PALS within 6 months. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• 2 years ED experience required.
• Current RN license within the state of practice.
• BCLS, ACLS within 6 months of hire; PALS within 6 months; ENPC/TNCC optional.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the ED and evaluates outcomes.
• Performs head-to-toe assessments across age groups.
• Manages triage, pain control, and patient education.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure timely care.
