Job summary

Medical City McKinney is seeking a dedicated RN Shift Supervisor for the Emergency Room. This full-time night position runs 7PM–7AM with rotating weekends, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a high-volume environment.

As CNC-like leadership, you will coordinate staff, support admissions and discharges, and ensure staffing and supplies meet patient needs while upholding safety and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists with throughput and discharge planning to maintain flow and quality
• Participates in ongoing assessment of patient care quality with leadership
• Collaborates with managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes
• Supports patient-first service and handles service recovery when needed
• Oversees nurse staffing and scheduling to meet patient care needs
• Monitors inventory and equipment to ensure readiness
