Job summary

Medical City McKinney is seeking an experienced RN Shift Supervisor for the Emergency Room. This full-time night role (7 PM–7 AM) includes rotating weekends, with staffing support and resources to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

You will oversee patient throughput, collaborate with the management team, and guide staff in delivering efficient, evidence-based care while maintaining a patient-first approach.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with Bachelor's degree is required.
• ACLS, BCLS, PALS, and Trauma certs must be obtained within specified windows.
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions and discharges to ensure throughput and high quality care.
• Monitor and coordinate nursing care with management team.
• Collaborate with managers to foster teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Oversee staff scheduling and inventory control.
