Job summary

Jobtome seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department in a full-time night shift role. You will oversee nurses and technicians, assign patient care, and ensure adherence to hospital policies while maintaining staffing to meet patient census.

Responsibilities include leading clinical staff, coordinating care, and promoting a positive work environment with a focus on safety and quality patient care. NM RN licensure and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years directly related nursing experience.
• Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo.

Responsibilities

• STRATEGIC INITIATIVE - Participate in nursing quality improvement and monitoring.
• SHARED GOVERNANCE - Support UNMH shared governance model.
• INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT - Use independent judgment to assign nursing personnel.
• ASSIGNMENT - Designate shift and schedule assignments per plan of care.
• ACCOUNTABILITY - Supervise staff delivering patient care on assigned shift.
• PATIENT CARE - Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients.
