Job summary

Medical City Denton is seeking an Emergency Room Supervisor (CNC) to lead nursing care and coordinate unit operations during shifts. You will work with the management team to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.

The position requires RN licensure with a preferred BSN and ongoing certifications (ACLS, BCLS, ENPC, NRP, PALS, STABLE, TNCC). Strong leadership and scheduling skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of applicable experience in emergency nursing or supervisory roles.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• ENPC within 18 months of employment start date.
• NRP within 6 months of employment start date.
• PALS within 90 days of employment start date.
• STABLE within 6 months of employment start date.
• TNCC within 18 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unit operations during the designated shift to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with management to monitor and evaluate nursing care per policies and procedures.
• Lead staff, participate in interviewing, training, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in line with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and equipment supplies management.
