The position requires RN licensure in Texas, a degree (bachelor or associate), and at least one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork to improve outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Implements nursing strategies, including hourly rounds and staff engagement initiatives.
• Provides hiring recommendations, training, and performance evaluations guidance.
• Manages staff scheduling and labor efficiency.
• Oversees inventory control and equipment/supplies management.
