Medical City Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor for the Emergency Department at Medical City Arlington. This full-time night shift oversees nursing care and coordinates unit operations to maintain high-quality patient outcomes.

The CNC collaborates with leadership to drive staffing, throughput, and service excellence. Qualifications include RN license and appropriate nursing degrees, with leadership and clinical skills to support a busy ED.

Qualifications

2 years experience required
RN supervision or leadership experience preferred
Ability to coordinate unit functions across shift
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to patient-centered care
Knowledge of patient throughput and staffing efficiency
Understanding of clinical policies and procedures
Ability to train and develop staff
Inventory and supply management skills

Responsibilities

Assist with admission and discharge processes for efficient throughput and patient-centered care
Monitor and evaluate nursing care during shift, direct staff
Collaborate with management to create teamwork for improved outcomes
Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed
Help implement nursing strategies like hourly rounds and staff engagement
Provide recommendations on interviewing, hiring, and staff development
Assist with staff scheduling and labor management
Ensure inventory control and equipment/supply management
