Job summary

Mercy Hospital Logan County in Guthrie, OK is hiring a Registered Nurse (Non-Exempt) for the Emergency Department. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with night shifts from 7pm to 7am and rotating weekends/holidays.

New grads may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus (up to $15,000 for experienced nurses). Mercy offers comprehensive benefits, ongoing orientation, and collaborative care in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure per requirements.
• Experience: none required; at least 6 months as LPN or RN preferred.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing/walking.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or obtained during orientation; other unit certs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with Therapy and other teams to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor vitals, administer medications, and assist with procedures as required.
• Support patient and family education; maintain safe patient/nurse ratios.
