Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years of full-time ER nursing experience, required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from recognized bodies required; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency for written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-appropriate nursing care in the ER.
• Maintain accurate, concise documentation in medical records.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Collect lab samples and perform tests per policies and regulations.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
