Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Room team. You will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety and privacy while following physician orders and hospital policies.

The role requires ER experience, valid RN licensure, and certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS. Excellent English communication and teamwork are essential for this full-time, dayshift position.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions.
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in ER or other comparable setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• Fluency in English (written and oral).
• PA-specific clearances Act 33/Act 73 if Pennsylvania-based.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-specific nursing care in the Emergency Room.
• Maintain accurate, concise, and legible documentation in medical records.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms, and patient status.
• Follow physician orders and infection control procedures.
• Prepare specimens and perform lab testing as required.
• Admit, discharge, and transfer patients as appropriate.
