Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals, is seeking an experienced ER nurse for our dayshift in Aubrey, TX. The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Department, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred), is licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state, and has 2+ years of ER or acute care experience, with current BLS, ACLS and PALS

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license with no sanctions.
• Minimum 2+ years ER or comparable experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-appropriate nursing care in ER.
• Maintain accurate, concise documentation in medical records.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms, and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in delivery of care.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
