Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. You will apply evidence-based practices and coordinate care to achieve optimal patient outcomes across a variety of settings.

The role requires a BSN in progress or active enrollment in a program, with at least 6 months of nursing experience or Nurse Residency participation, and RN licensure in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR active Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, strong accountability, teamwork, ongoing education, and patient-centered care.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based policies and standards to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Collect comprehensive data and perform age- and disease-specific assessments.
• Coordinate plan of care with the interdisciplinary team and communicate updates.
• Assist in discharge planning and ensure safe transitions of care.
• Maintain continuous documentation of assessments, plans, interventions, and outcomes.
