Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to provide direct patient care and coordinate interdisciplinary workflow. You will apply current nursing knowledge to ensure safe, effective care and contribute to the care team with strong communication and patient advocacy.

The role requires an RN license in NJ, BLS/CPR, and either 6+ months of nursing experience or active participation in the Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Current RN license for NJ location at hire date.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience or Nurse Residency participation.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based practice and standards.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with attention to age and disease-specific needs.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and communicate plans of care.
• Educate patients and families to promote understanding and adherence to treatment.
• Document care and discharge planning using electronic systems and protocols.
