Job summary

Jobtome is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at SRMC in Albuquerque, NM. The position entails leading nursing staff, coordinating care, and ensuring adherence to hospital policies and patient safety standards.

The role covers various age groups and requires flexibility for night shifts. Essential qualifications include a nursing program graduate, NM RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Program Graduate is required.
• 2 years directly related experience is preferred.
• RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement is required.
• CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days is required.
• Must be able to perform heavy work as described in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Work under the general nursing process and assign staff to patients.
• Designate shift and schedule assignments; call in staff and monitor attendance.
• Provide clinical leadership for nursing and technician staff on the designated shift.
• Ensure adequate staff to meet patient census and supervise staff delivering care.
• Deliver safe direct care and ensure documentation of patient care activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans.
