Adventist Health is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse Lead to provide clinical and operational leadership in a fast-paced ED. This role partners with nurse managers, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure superior patient outcomes and staff development.

The ideal candidate will have a BSN or higher, California RN licensure, BLS, and demonstrated leadership. Preferred qualifications include a MSN, 5+ years in nursing, and ED leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active California RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Emergency Department.
• Support and mentor nursing staff while promoting professional development.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and evidence-based patient care delivery.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and workload management based on patient acuity.
• Monitor quality metrics and lead performance improvement initiatives.
• Promote patient safety and compliance with Joint Commission standards.
• Address patient, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and compassion.
• Participate in hiring, coaching, performance evaluations, and staff development.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered work environment.
