Job summary

UNMH is seeking an experienced RN supervisor for the Emergency Department. You will lead nursing staff, assign shifts, and ensure high-quality patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations.

Responsibilities include directing staff on shift, monitoring census, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Strong clinical leadership and commitment to patient safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have current RN license in NM or eligible via reciprocity.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in ER or acute care.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing staff on assigned shift in ER to ensure safe patient care.
• Assign patients, monitor census, and adjust staffing as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including performance evaluations.
