Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily unit operations by performing receptionist activities and clerical duties.
• Provide prompt, polished customer service and act as a resource for patients, families, staff and physicians.
• Initiate discharge folders, patient portal information, and admission documentation.
• Coordinate patients’ daily schedule (tests, exams, x-rays, transportation, follow ups).
• Maintain patient medical records and ensure orders are accurate.
• Use the electronic medical record for data entry and monitoring.
