Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HUC post-secondary program, or HUC Certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year working experience in a medical environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
• Working knowledge with EHR systems; EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide organizational, receptionist, and clerical support to patient care units and the healthcare team.
• Monitor and order supplies; promptly answer patient call lights; elevate patient needs to nursing staff.
• Assist the care team with managing orders in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and facility staff; support care team with continuous improvement.
