HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an ER Discharge Coordinator for PRN coverage at TriStar Centennial Medical Center and affiliated centers. The role focuses on bedside PoC scheduling within centralized ER and Urgent Care Follow-up programs to enhance patient experience and scheduling immediacy.

You will collaborate with patients, families, and care teams to ensure timely follow-up, maintain service standards, and support organizational goals for quality care and customer service.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Speaks with customers, patients and stakeholders in a pleasant and professional manner; communicates appropriately and clearly with department leadership, co-workers and customers/patients.
• Will schedule patients for follow-up care bedside when appropriate.
• Ensures performance and quality standards are met.
• Provides superior customer service to internal and external customers and patients; supports the vision and strategy of the organization, positively promotes the services offered, and elevates issues to leadership as appropriate.
• Suggests ideas for positive changes to department policies and procedures.
