HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking an ER Discharge Coordinator for PRN status to support bedside follow-up scheduling and enhance the patient experience. You will coordinate with bedside staff, patients and care teams to initiate timely follow-up and ensure a smooth discharge process.

In a fast-paced ER/urgent care setting, the role emphasizes courteous service, accurate scheduling, and adherence to quality standards while contributing to overall patient satisfaction and department goals.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Speaks with customers, patients and stakeholders in a pleasant and professional manner; Communicates appropriately and clearly with department leadership, co-workers and customers/patients.
• Will schedule patients for follow-up care bedside when appropriate.
• Ensures performance and quality standards are met.
• Provides superior customer service to internal and external customers and patients; Supports the vision and strategy of the organization, positively promotes the services offered, and elevates issues to leadership as appropriate.
• Suggests ideas for positive changes to department policies and procedures.
