Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Verifies orders with Radiologist before exam.
• Identifies patients using two identifiers and explains procedures.
• Reviews patient history and charts to relate history to exam.
• Operates CT scanners and associated equipment.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast per protocol.
• Maintains radiation safety and follows infection control policies.
• Rotates shifts, including on-call, holidays, and weekends.
• Communicates and documents contrast administration and exam details in MAR.

Education

Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program

ARRT radiology or NMTCB certification with CT registry within 1 year of hire
