Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking a dedicated teacher to design engaging lessons, use data to guide instruction, and create a joyful, inclusive classroom where every student learns and thrives. You will collaborate with your school’s Leadership Team, receive coaching, and participate in weekly professional development to grow as an educator and leader.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and eligibility for a General Education permit or teaching credential; CPR

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Eligible for General Education Permit or Provisional Internship Permit or Short Term Staff Permit; CPR certification may be required.
• Ability to design engaging lessons and use data to guide instruction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily and long-term lesson plans aligned with academic vision.
• Analyze student data regularly to inform instruction and support growth.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment grounded in Restorative Practices and SEL.
• Use culturally responsive classroom management strategies to ensure safety, belonging, and high expectations.
• Communicate proactively with families, colleagues, and leaders to build strong partnerships.
• Engage in weekly professional development and Communities of Practice.
• Maintain accurate records including attendance, grades, and behavior data.
