Job summary

Phyton Talent Advisors is seeking an Equity Derivatives Trade Support / Middle Office Analyst in New York to ensure accurate trade booking, lifecycle processing, and timely resolution of discrepancies within a fast-paced trading environment. The role interfaces with front office, operations, Market Risk and regional teams; requires 5+ years in Trade Support or Middle Office and strong knowledge of equity derivatives.

Preferred experience with Sophis and Summit.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Trade Support or Middle Office experience, ideally in financial markets.
• Strong knowledge of Equity Derivatives markets and products.
• Understanding of the trade lifecycle and end-to-end settlement flows.
• Experience resolving trade breaks and P&L discrepancies.
• Clear communication with traders, counterparties, and internal partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Book, amend, and maintain trades in front-office systems for accurate capture.
• Manage trade lifecycle events including expiries and corporate actions.
• Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies with global operations teams.
• Collaborate with Market Risk to address P&L breaks and root causes.
• Serve as primary contact for traders and sales on booking and settlements.
