Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Equity Derivatives markets and products.
  • Understanding of the trade lifecycle and end-to-end settlement flows.
  • Experience resolving trade breaks and P&L discrepancies.
  • Clear communication with traders, counterparties, and internal partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies with global operations teams.

Equity Derivatives Trade Support / Middle Office Analyst
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Trade Support / Middle Office professional to join the team supporting our Equity Derivatives trading business. Sitting between the front office and operations, this role makes sure trades are booked accurately, lifecycle events are processed on time, and discrepancies are resolved quickly. You will work closely with traders, sales, Market Risk, and operations teams around the world. The role suits a detail-oriented professional who understands the full trade lifecycle and works well in a fast-paced trading environment.

What You'll Do

Trade Booking & Lifecycle Management

  • Book, amend, and maintain trades in front-office systems to ensure accurate trade capture across Equity Derivatives products
  • Calculate and amend performance and financing tickets for settlements on equity swaps and related products
  • Book corporate actions such as dividends, splits, and mergers, and reflect their impact on open positions
  • Process expiries, resets, and other lifecycle events accurately and on time
  • Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies by coordinating with operations, settlements, and counterparties, both globally and locally, on behalf of the front office
  • Partner with Market Risk to investigate and resolve P&L breaks, identify root causes, and correct bookings
  • Escalate unresolved issues and follow them through to resolution

Front Office Support

  • Act as a key point of contact for traders and sales staff on booking, trade, and settlement questions
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with counterparties and the trading desk, often under tight deadlines

Controls & Process Improvement

  • Update and maintain team metrics to track volumes, breaks, and turnaround times
  • Make sure procedures are documented, current, and followed
  • Identify ways to strengthen controls and improve efficiency while staying responsive to clients and business partners
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of Trade Support or Middle Office experience, ideally within an investment bank or broker-dealer
  • Strong knowledge of Equity Derivatives markets and products, including equity swaps and options
  • Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle and end-to-end settlement flows
  • Experience resolving trade breaks and P&L discrepancies
  • Clear, confident communication with traders, counterparties, and internal partners
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
