Talan Group is seeking a motivated Trade Support Analyst to join its Equity team in New York City. This role involves supporting daily operations on the trading desk, entering and adjusting trades in front office systems, and managing various corporate actions and lifecycle events. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and ideally have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, particularly in Trade Support or as a Trader Assistant.

The position offers a hybrid work model, competitive salary between $90,000 and $110,000, plus comprehensive benefits including 401(k) matching and paid vacation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with equity derivatives is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Trade Support or similar role preferred.
• Must have experience handling booking, settlement, and lifecycle issues.
• Familiarity with Medium Term Notes (MTNs) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Enter and adjust trades in front office systems, managing performance tickets to settlement.
• Manage corporate actions, expiries, and lifecycle events as they arise.
• Act as the first point of contact for operational issues during the trading day.

Equity Derivatives proficiency

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Familiarity with trading platforms (Sophis, Summit)
