Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the servicing of company and customer equipment in a timely, effective manner. You will manage repairs, schedule work, coordinate parts, and train staff to ensure equipment is available for rental.

The role requires extensive maintenance experience with lifts and platforms, strong planning skills, and a focus on safety and quality control. Competitive base pay and full benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Extensive experience in repair/maintenance of self-propelled platforms and lifts.
• Knowledge of work planning, scheduling and supervisory activities.
• Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements.
• Planning and management experience.
• Computer literacy and ability to run reports.
• Experience with inventory management and parts planning.

Responsabilités

• Manages repair and maintenance of company and customer equipment, organizing the yard for Ready to Rent, Returned, and Down status.
• Prepares work schedules and handles service calls to meet customer needs and ensure equipment availability.
• Orders parts and maintains adequate supplies; trains staff mechanics.
• Interacts with vendors to learn maintenance requirements for new equipment.
• Documents equipment status before and after rental; handles customer complaints about equipment.
• Create, update, close and bill work orders; maintain service records and warranties.
