You will lead a team of mechanics, coordinate parts and vendor needs, and maintain service records. Sunbelt emphasizes safety, training, and internal career growth within a national leader in rental equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Extensive experience repairing and maintaining self-propelled platforms and lifts.
• Knowledge of work planning, scheduling and supervisory activities.
• Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements.
• Clear perspective of maintenance and repair issues in the industry.
• Planning and management experience.
• Computer literacy and reporting experience.
• Inventory management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage repair and maintenance of company and customer equipment, including yard organization.
• Prepare work schedules and handle service calls to meet customer needs.
• Order parts to maintain supplies.
• Provide training and assistance to staff mechanics.
• Collaborate with vendors on maintenance requirements for new equipment.
• Evaluate equipment after repairs and safety checks.
• Maintain and document equipment service records; handle work orders and warranties.
