Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Extensive repair/maintenance experience on self-propelled platforms and lifts.
• Knowledge of work planning, scheduling and supervisory activities.
• Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements.
• Clear perspective on maintenance and repair issues in the industry.
• Planning and management experience.
• Computer literacy and reporting experience.
• Inventory management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages repair and maintenance of company owned and customer equipment; organizes yard readiness.
• Prepares work schedules and handles service calls to meet customer needs and ensure equipment availability.
• Orders parts to maintain adequate supplies; trains and assists staff mechanics.
• Interfaces with equipment vendors to learn maintenance requirements for new inventory.
• Evaluates equipment after repairs, maintenance or safety checks; documents status.
• Creates, updates, closes and bills work orders; files warranty claims timely.
• Promotes safety awareness and performs quality control checks; maintains service records.
• Disposes of hazardous waste per policy; reports fleet status and service data.
