Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Academy Trainer to deliver world-class safety and equipment operator training to customers and internal teams.

You will serve as an expert in equipment operation, safety compliance, adult learning, and training solutions, partnering with Sales, Operations, and customers to drive revenue growth and ensure regulatory compliance. You’ll use instructor-led sessions, assessments, Train-the-Trainer programs, and digital learning tools to improve operator competency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years delivering equipment operator or safety training.
• Experience with Train-the-Trainer or competency assessments preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA/ANSI/CSA/MSHA or equivalent safety standards preferred.
• Experience with LMS and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led safety and operator training to customers and United Rentals employees.
• Conduct practical evaluations and certifications.
• Utilize digital learning platforms and simulators to enhance learning.
• Adapt delivery to meet customer and regulatory needs.
• Build relationships with customers, sales, and branch teams for revenue growth.
• Maintain training records and certifications in LMS and CRM systems.
