Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge
  • Experience or training in the mechanical, electrical, electronic or automotive field.
Skills
  • Skill in the safe use of shop and mechanical hand tools.
Abilities
  • Ability to use various tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to read diagrams or schematics.
  • Experience in the electrical, electronic, mechanical, or automotive vocation required.
  • Motor vehicle operator’s license required.
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent.
Additional Considerations
  • Virginia State Inspection certification preferred.
