The Equipment/Purchasing Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the internal equipment division.

Equipment Purchasing Assistant Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists the Corporate Equipment Manager and Equipment Analyst in the maintenance of the company’s equipment asset inventory by tracking and monitoring usage of each piece of equipment.
• Assists the Corporate Equipment Manager and Equipment Analyst in the accurate accounting of equipment expenditures to include: (1) Coding Invoices to General Ledger (2) Job Costing (3) Fixed Asset Maintenance.
• Coordinates with Corporate Equipment Manager and Equipment Analyst to identify equipment needs for each job site.
• Assists the Corporate Equipment Manager and Equipment Analyst in the maintenance of vendor accounts by reviewing account statements, identifying discrepancies and resolving unsettled issues.
• Processes equipment transfer forms, weekly damage reports, rental and repair orders and distributes information accordingly.
• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent with minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Access and Equipment Master within an accounting system.
• Excellent organizational skills required.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to sit and work directly on computer for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry in excess of 20 pounds on occasion.
