Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for Malta, NY, on a 12-hour C-shift. The role involves preventive/corrective maintenance, monitoring equipment, and documenting status while working with production teams in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or technical degree, with 4+ years in electrical/mechanical roles, and experience reading schematics. Travel minimal; relocation may be offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree (or equivalent) or technical degree.
• Experience: Electrical or mechanical, 2-year technical degree or 4 years relevant experience.
• Ability to read schematics/diagrams and use basic hand tools.
• Familiarity with SPC charts and process improvement will help.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and document status and pass-downs.
• Follow safety policies and work in cleanroom environments.
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve issues with engineering support.
