Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Sales Support Consultant for the Equipment Management Support team to drive maintenance strategy development and data-driven decisions for mining, quarrying and waste operations.
You will work with commercial, operations and dealer teams to optimize fleet performance and contract value. The role emphasizes on-site collaboration, multi-disciplinary analysis, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations that improve equipment lifecycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience in Caterpillar dealer-facing or customer-facing roles.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar service systems, tools, and support processes.
- Experience developing maintenance and repair rates and maintenance strategies.
- Understanding of Caterpillar Mining Equipment Management practices.
- Experience with tools such as Service Option Collaborator, Cat Calculator, SIS and AMT.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Demonstrates focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop maintenance and repair operational strategies for Cat Solutions & Services customers.
- Analyze fleet and maintenance data to support equipment strategies and lifecycle decisions.
- Monitor Cat Solutions & Services agreements performance and provide recommendations to improve contract health, profitability, and customer value.
- Support rebuilds, repair, and replacement planning through data-driven analysis.
- Evaluate component life strategies based on machine application and operating conditions.
- Collaborate with commercial, operations, and dealer teams to support contract review audits, and service agreement development.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance process efficiency and business performance.
