Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Support Consultant to provide commercial leadership and specialized expertise for the Electric Power division. You will work with regional sales teams, dealers, and customers to develop value-based solutions that strengthen Caterpillar's competitive position and drive growth.

You will lead centralized commercial efforts, support complex sales opportunities, and mentor teammates while focusing on dealer growth and customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business concentration from an accredited university.
• Experience in power generation, energy systems, electrical systems, or related industries.
• Experience in field, dealer, customer-facing, analytical, and related sales or commercial roles.
• Strong collaboration, communication, relationship-building, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively across regions, cultures, and organizations while aligning diverse stakeholders around common objectives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a sales and commercial support specialist for regional sales teams focused on dealer growth within Electric Power.
• Deliver commercial process improvement projects to the regional sales teams to grow sales to user revenue through dealers.
• Define and manage annual dealer performance metrics and consult with regional sales teams for successful outcomes.
• Lead annual business planning and target setting for EPD commercial goals.
• Standardize processes across supply chain, order fulfillment, and invoicing activities.
• Serve as a senior consultant on the team to mentor, influence, and coach other team members with a customer focus in a culture of continuous learning.
