Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Sales Support Consultant for the Equipment Management Support team to drive maintenance strategy development and data-driven decisions for mining, quarrying and waste operations.

You will work with commercial, operations and dealer teams to optimize fleet performance and contract value. The role emphasizes on-site collaboration, multi-disciplinary analysis, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations that improve equipment lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in Caterpillar dealer-facing or customer-facing roles.
• Knowledge of Caterpillar service systems, tools, and support processes.
• Experience developing maintenance and repair rates and maintenance strategies.
• Understanding of Caterpillar Mining Equipment Management practices.
• Experience with tools such as Service Option Collaborator, Cat Calculator, SIS and AMT.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Demonstrates focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in developing maintenance and repair strategies, performing maintenance strategy reviews, site assessments and providing subject matter expertise to Caterpillar and Dealer Field personnel across Mining, Quarrying and Waste Industries. You will work closely with commercial, operations, and dealer teams to develop maintenance and repair strategies, build equipment operational models, to support contract execution t activities, and deliver data-driven recommendations that improve customer outcomes, fleet performance, and equipment lifecycle value.

What You Will Do:

• Develop maintenance and repair operational strategies and for Cat Solutions & Services customers and agreements.
• Analyze fleet and maintenance data to support customer-specific equipment management strategies and equipment life cycle decisions.

Additional Information:

The primary work location for this role is Peoria, Il, with a requirement to work on‑site full‑time at a Caterpillar facility. Travel requirements for this position may be up to 25 %. Summary Pay Range: $128,470.00 - $192,710.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
