Job summary

Olin is seeking a R&D Engineer 6-Month Co-op in Angleton, Texas, from June to December. You will support Technical Services and R&D through data analysis, experiments and research for Epoxy, leading multiple hands-on projects.

The position requires an undergraduate in Chemical Engineering with a 3.0+ GPA, completion of sophomore year, and availability to work full-time (40 hours/week). You must be able to obtain a TWIC and hold a valid US driver's license; sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times during time at Olin.
• Must have completed sophomore year (60 credits) before first rotation.
• Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) and not be eligible for virtual work.
• Must obtain a TWIC and possess a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term.
• Plan and execute lab experiments in accordance with project plans.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and communicate findings.
• Conduct literature searches to increase technical understanding, identify gaps, and validate hypothesis
