Olin is seeking a R&D Engineer Co-op for a 6-month June–December rotation in Angleton, Texas. The role focuses on supporting Epoxy R&D and Technical Services through data analysis, experiments, and research, with an emphasis on new product development.

The program requires full-time availability, sophomore year completion, and eligibility to work in the United States. Housing stipend is available, and sponsorship is not provided.

• Must have completed sophomore year (60 credits) prior to first rotation.

Focus: The R&D Engineer Co-Op supports Technical Services and R&D through data analysis, experiments, and research for Epoxy. This role will support efforts related to new product and applications development.

What You'll Do:

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need.
• Plan and execute lab experiments in accordance with project plans
• Analyze data, interpret results, and communicate findings
• Conduct literature searches to increase technical understanding, identify gaps, and validate hypothesis

What You’ll Bring:

• Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate Chemical Engineering degree program
• Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
• Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with Olin
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) during rotation; Not eligible for virtual work
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
