Job summary

Olin is seeking a Chemical Engineer Co-Op for Spring 2027 in Freeport, TX. You will lead hands-on projects and support operations to optimize processes and performance.

You will participate in plant turnarounds, update P&IDs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives, while meeting GPA, year, and licensing requirements. Housing stipends are available, and the program requires full-time availability (40 hours/week) with TWIC and a US driver's license.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate Chemical Engineering degree program.
• GPA 3.0+ on a 4.0 scale required.
• Must have completed sophomore year (60 credits) prior to first rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, defined at rotation start.
• Assist Operations team in optimizing daily operations and process performance for low-cost, on-spec, reliable operation.
• Assist with resolving plant issues, driving improvements, and sharing knowledge to strengthen team performance.
• Participate in plant turnarounds, update P&IDs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
