Job summary

Olin Chemicals is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Engineer Co‑Op for Fall 2027 in Freeport, TX. You will support development and implementation of EHS initiatives across manufacturing environments and participate in small capital projects.

This paid, on-site co‑op requires enrolled undergrad in Environmental or Chemical Engineering with GPA 3.0+, ability to work full-time, and eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0+ across all terms
• Transcript required each term
• Sophomore year completed before first rotation
• Able to work full-time (40 h/wk) during rotation
• Not eligible for virtual work
• Must obtain TWIC and have valid US driver’s license
• U.S. work authorization required

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects during the term
• Assist with collecting, analyzing, and reporting EHS data
• Assist with implementing and maintaining EHS programs
• Collaborate to promote a safe, environmentally responsible workplace
