Job summary

Summa Health seeks an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, Ohio. This role offers involvement in advanced diagnostics, surgical pathways, and a comprehensive epilepsy program within a technology-driven health system.

Practice includes clinic and inpatient/EMU settings, collaboration with neurosurgical partners, opportunities for research, and an academic appointment with NEOMED for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Neurology.
• Completion of an Epilepsy fellowship.
• Current unrestricted Ohio medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Interest in teaching, lectures and resident education.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered, team-based care.
• Interest in clinical innovation and technology in epilepsy care.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% epilepsy practice across clinic and inpatient/EMU settings.
• Collaborate with neurosurgical partners on epilepsy surgery pathways.
• Engage in research, innovation, and medical education activities.
