Job summary

Summa Health is seeking an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, Ohio. The role focuses on a 100% epilepsy practice within a comprehensive neuroscience framework, offering opportunities in diagnostics, surgical pathways, and collaboration with regional neurosurgical partners.

The position supports research, education, and a pediatric-to-adult epilepsy transition pathway, with an academic appointment with NEOMED available for qualified

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Completion of an Epilepsy fellowship.
• Preference for an experienced epilepsy physician with complex epilepsy management.
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ohio or ability to obtain an Ohio license.
• Interest in teaching, lectures and resident education.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered, team-based care.
• Interest in clinical innovation, technology and the continued advancement of epilepsy treatment.
