Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a senior IT professional to lead enterprise-wide projects, manage critical incidents, and drive workflow optimization. The role emphasizes knowledge sharing, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering reliable, patient-centered technology solutions.

This exempt, full-time position requires 40 hours per week with a 8:30AM-4:30PM schedule, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Epic/Workday/Application certification(s) or ability to achieve as required by department.
• Lean Green Belt certification or ability to achieve as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Leads critical incidents and projects with accountability for outcomes.
• Implements workflow modifications and collaborates with vendors on standard solutions.
• Directs configuration of application features and security settings; creates support docs and test scripts.
• Mentors staff, covers leadership in absence, and fosters team development.
• Drives projects from conception to completion with minimal oversight and manages resources.
