Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Epic Applications Systems Specialist to lead major clinical and business information system projects with a strong focus on incident management and workflow optimization.

You will mentor staff, work with vendors, and help advance system configurations, security, and testing across enterprise platforms. A Lean Green Belt and Epic certifications are preferred for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Epic Application certification(s) required; Lean Green Belt certification or ability to achieve.
• 7 years of experience with enterprise platforms (EHRs/ITSM/ERPs).

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects and assignments; provide expert guidance during high-impact incidents.
• Coordinate projects, estimate hours, and allocate resources.
• Configure application features and security settings; create support docs and test scripts.
• Collaborate with vendors; review roadmaps with stakeholders; drive projects from conception to completion.
