Job summary

HSS in New York seeks an Epic IT specialist to broaden enterprise-level challenges and manage Epic upgrades, SU installs, and patching in coordination with the Epic Hosting team.

You will own Epic environment strategy across build, test, training, and production, govern change control, and coordinate testing and downtime communications. This is a hands-on role leading IT operations and upgrade initiatives.

Qualifications

• Epic experience with upgrades, patches, and maintenance.
• Ability to coordinate changes across IT teams and vendors.
• Experience planning and executing enterprise-level IT projects.

Responsibilities

• This role focuses on system maintenance and technical oversight for Epic.
• Own environment strategy across build, test, training and production.
• Administer change control, including calendars and approvals, with cross-team coordination.
• Lead downtime planning, business continuity, and disaster recovery efforts.
• Provide Epic technical support and oversee hosting team performance.
