Job summary

Pivot Point Consulting is seeking a Senior Epic Analyst to own day-to-day support and maintenance for Epic applications and lead application build within that scope. You will resolve issues, coordinate upgrades, and identify improvements to strengthen reliability and client workflows.

The role requires active Epic certification and healthcare experience, with strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills to coordinate across support and upgrade activities.

Qualifications

• Active Epic Certification in one of the following applications: Willow, Ambulatory, Healthy Planet/Compass Rose, MyChart, EpicCare Link.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of healthcare experience.
• Current certification in the primary Epic application.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary analyst for Epic maintenance, build, configuration, incidents, and service requests.
• Investigate application issues, document findings, implement approved resolutions, and coordinate dependencies with other application teams.
• Lead build for assigned application areas during Epic upgrades, including Nova note review and build.
• Complete and coordinate unit, application, and integrated testing and provide command center support during go-live.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve application functionality and workflows; recommend practical solutions.
• Manage assigned support and project work, communicating progress, risks, and dependencies to clients and peers.
• Maintain accurate ticket, build, testing, and change documentation.
• Follow client and company security, confidentiality, documentation, and change control requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
