Job summary

Stormont Vail HealthCare, Inc. is seeking an Epic Systems Engineer 1 to develop, implement, and maintain Epic infrastructure across Windows and Linux server environments.

You will work with Information Systems teams on deployment platforms, backups, documentation, and on-call support to ensure high availability. Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED with EPIC certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience as System Engineer/Administrator, Networking, or Helpdesk.
• Experience with Web Services, Certificates, Load Balancers, networks, databases, backups, file systems, scripting.
• Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux Server OS is preferred.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and manage deployment platforms serving production and non-production needs.
• Assist in configuring and troubleshooting integrated third-party software and peripherals.
• Follow vendor and EPIC best practices for hardware/software configurations.
• Manage backups, OS releases, troubleshoot Epic environments, and ensure availability.
• Provide after-hours and on-call support for 24x7 operations.
• Document application functionality, support procedures, and training materials.
