Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an Epic Trainer to lead scheduling staff education, onboarding, and competency initiatives on a fully onsite basis in Chesapeake, VA. The role focuses on Epic scheduling workflows, training delivery, and documentation to ensure audit readiness and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have Epic certification or the ability to obtain it within a year, plus prior training or onboarding experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Epic Certification/Credentialing or ability to obtain within one year.
• Previous trainer, educator, lead, or onboarding experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training and onboarding for scheduling staff.
• Serve as the Epic subject matter expert for scheduling workflows.
• Coordinate education sessions, track training completion, and maintain records.
• Support compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and organizational requirements.
• Develop training materials and provide ongoing staff education.
• Prepare reports and support audit readiness initiatives.
