Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Three years of experience in a medical office setting is required.
• Knowledge of medical office software for updating patient information, posting charges, copays, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Process referrals by collecting necessary information and guiding patients to schedule appointments.
• Provide EPIC super-user support and on-site training as needed.
• Audit Epic work queues (Follow Up, Claim Edit, Charge Review, Missing Guarantor) and resolve errors/denials.
• Communicate billing questions and patient information clearly to staff and patients.
• Round on patients to explain delays and ensure a positive patient experience.
