Job summary

Driscoll Children’s Hospital is seeking an Epic Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to join our Epic Applications team. You will focus on configuring, optimizing, and maintaining Epic Willow applications to support safe medication management across our health system.

Pharmacists with Epic experience or a strong interest in informatics are encouraged to apply. Prior pediatric pharmacy exposure and PGY-2 training are a plus as we collaborate with Pharmacy Operations and IT to enhance workflows.

Qualifications

PharmD or BPharm degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Active Pharmacist license in Texas or eligible by reciprocity.
Hospital/inpatient pharmacy experience or clinical rotations.
Experience with Epic Willow is preferred.
Pharmacy informatics experience or Epic configuration is a plus.
Pediatric pharmacy experience and PGY-2 residency are desirable.

Responsibilities

Build, configure, test, and maintain Epic Willow applications (Inpatient, Ambulatory, Inventory).
Configure medication records and order settings within Epic.
Troubleshoot issues and improve system functionality and workflows.
Test and validate changes to ensure safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with Pharmacy Operations to review system needs and workflows.
Work with Epic analysts, IT, and other departments for integration.
Maintain documentation of configurations and changes.
Oversee development and maintenance of the Pharmacy CDM.
